Facts About The Real Christmas Story!
As you spend time with your families and friends in the next couple of days I want to share with you the real Christmas story. This is not just about the birth of the Savior. It is more than just the baby in the manger. This may not set well with some, but I do not believe in a watered down truth!
People will hear about the birth of Christ, but it will not go any further than that. A baby is helpless, a baby is harmless. But Jesus is no longer a baby anymore! I want you to realize that baby had a mission. Here are some facts. These are things that are good to know. I am not saying that we should stop what we do. I am saying that every born again believer of the Lord Jesus Christ should know these things and they should be taught in the homes and churches, but they are not.
Jesus was born to die!
Jesus, the name is above every other name and has 5 letters in it. Five in the Bible is the number of death. Jesus’ mission was not just to be born. He was born to die. He was born to shed His blood on Calvary and to take God’s wrath upon Himself so that we have a way to heaven!
Love of today is not the same love of the Bible!
Christianity of today has twisted love into this mushy, effeminate, emotional love. It is not! The love of the Bible is explained in two verses.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Don’t stop there! There is another John 3:16 in the Bible that explains this love! You can say there are two John 3:16’s.
The second one is in 1 John! This verse explains what the love of the Bible is! 1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Jesus was not born on December 25th!
Jesus was born in September during the Feast of Tabernacles. His birthday was never on December 25th. In fact December 25th is the birthday of Baal the sun god. The Bible talks about Baal. You will have to read up on it to understand who Baal was.
The truth of the Christmas tree!
The Christmas tree. That is in the Bible. It is associated with Baal worship. Jeremiah 10:2-6 reveal what the tree is all about. I put up a tree and decorate as well. This just something born again believers should know about.
Jesus came to earth initially for the Jews!
When Jesus arrived, His sole mission on this Earth was the Nation of Israel. God’s chosen people. It was never us gentiles (anyone who was not a Jew), but the rejection of the Messiah many times by God’s chosen people caused God to divorce the Nation of Israel but they will be reunited in the future. Israel was God’s wife, and they will be reunited again! God is not done with the Nation of Israel nor will He ever be. Knowing this, it should completely negate those that call themselves the church who replace the Jews with the church. If the Nation of Israel had accepted the Messiah when He first arrived, we would be destined for hell without any way of redemption! That my brothers and sisters in the Lord puts our Salvation in perspective!
Jesus was born in secret!
When Jesus was born, everyone was asleep. When Jesus was born He had no room! The world missed the greatest event when God manifested Himself in the flesh as the Lord Jesus Christ! When Jesus returns, everyone will be asleep.
The Rapture is REAL!
Jesus will be calling out to the born again believer, “Come up hither!” and it will happen at night! Born again believers will be caught up in the clouds with the Lord Jesus Christ (called the rapture)! Churches of today have since rejected the rapture because they have rejected the Book that clearly reveals the rapture. The scriptures are so clear about the rapture that you would have to be blind not to see it.
Let me explain it for you. The rapture in Bible is likened to a harvest. A harvest consists of three types of harvests.
- The first one is called the first fruits. These are the crops that bloom early.
- The second harvest is the main harvest. This where the entire crops harvested.
- The third harvest is called the gleanings. These are crops that are late bloomers.
The rapture is explained in 1 Corinthians 15:22-24 along with three mentions of the phrase “Come up hither” in Proverbs 25, Revelation 4 and Revelation 11.
- Christ the first fruits. These are the OT Saints! Those in Abraham’s Bosom. The first “Come up Hither” which is located in Proverbs 25:7.
- Afterwards they that are Christs at his coming. This is every blood bought born again believer of the Lord Jesus Christ! This is the main harvest! The second “come up hither is located in Revelation 4:1.
- Then cometh the end. These are the gleanings. These are the tribulation saints! Those that are born again Jews! The third “come up hither is located in Revelation 11:12.
The Bible says that Jesus will come as a thief in the night! You are right, you cannot set a date because no man knows the day or the hour, but you can see it through the things of this world that we are drawing close to the end. Most churches have kicked the King of kings out the door along with the Book! Churches of today have become community centers for entertainment instead of a church that preaches truth, conviction, sin and hell. This is why Revelation 3:20 shows Jesus standing at the door and knocking. Most believers use this verse in the Gospel when they do not realize that this verse is directed to the church!
Jesus was a young child when the wise men arrived!
